As part of the 2018 Architecture, Construction & Design Awards, ARO was recognized with a design prize celebrating the futuristic tower’s use of space and materials to create an efficient, memorable tower. The 61-story collection of Midtown West rentals in NYC features a deceptively simple envelope pattern on the facade, which creates a striking texture all the way up while maximizing views of nearby Central Park and creating space for contextual private terraces for select residences. The building’s suite of luxury amenities is contained in the building’s podium base, while larger residences are housed higher up in the building, making efficient use of the narrow area available for the tower.
